Adult League Weekly Report Pre-Season Week 1

We are back in action as we wrap up week 1. All great games in our first week of pre-season. Starting in Boxboro the White team comes out strong with Gary Burton leading the squad with a hat trick with the White team taking the game by a score of 9-2 with a victory over the Black team. While game 2 is followed by a Vegas Gold 6-2 win over the Red team.

    On Wednesday night we go to our Newton C league games. We have the Green and Red teams squaring off in game number 1. In a close fought 5-4 Green team victory, with the hat trick and game winning goal scored by Evan Kuritzkes with 8:12 remaining in the third period. While game 2 leads with the Yellow team winning with a score of 9-2 over the Gray team. 

    Thursday night we have two leagues going on. In one end we have Newton and in the other end we have Nashua. First let’s go to our Newton lower D league. Both were very close games as game number one goes to the Black team with a score of 3-1 while our second game of the night was even closer with a score of only 2-1 putting the Light Blue team against the Red team with Light Blue coming out with the W. In New Hampshire on Thursday nights we have our Nashua C/ D league. Our first game was Light Blue vs. Black. Close throughout the whole game Light Blue comes out on top with a notable hat trick from Mike Stuart. Our second game matches up Green against White. White leads into the win column with a score of 9-5 with an Auston Matthews like performance with a 4 goal game put on by Jeffrey Ladabouche.

    Then, we jump into our Sunday night league action out of Tyngsboro and Hooksett. Out of Hooksett, Black vs. Vegas Gold. Black scores a goal right out of the gate and is able to win the game by a score of 3-2. Then, after that the Red team takes a commanding 5-0 lead after the first period as the Green team claws their way back to make it a 5-3 game. Then, we go to the other side of the map in Tyngsboro with the Green team playing the Red team. With the Red team winning with a hat trick led by Edwin Krugs. Our second game out of Tyngsboro with the Yellow team having a great all around team effort in a 7-1 victory over Light Blue.

   Monday nights in Woburn, our last game to report. The Green team comes away with the victory with a final score of 7-3 in our first match-up. Our second game pits Red against Black, Red coming away with a W with a score of 6-3.
